Filling in the gaps

I'm not good at writing pretty words about what I do or why I do it. To say it as straightforward as I can, I hate bullshit. I try to minimize my contribution of bullshit as often as I can. What I do like (and love!) is southern Vancouver Island, and in particular my home of Victoria, BC. It's not hard to find beautiful natural inspiration on this island. When I'm photographing a family or wedding I usually try to fill in their photos with some images of the land that we were on. Some of my favourite places to photograph nature, and in particular, people in nature are The Gardens at the HCP (Horticulture Centre of the Pacific), Dallas Road Waterfront Pathway, Goldstream Provincial Park, Beacon Hill Park, and Mount Douglas Park to name a few. Places you should go! And bring a camera... or a good phone camera.
